This has been my go to $20 foot massage place since Bali Foot Spa changed ownership. Heavenly foot spa is located on Decatur off of Spring Mt directly across the street from Cafe Sanuki. The inside is very spacious and newly renovated with extra rooms and more beds.
For the $20 Foot massage you get an hour of head to toe rub down. First they soak your feet in a bucket of warm water lined with a plastic bag they change every time. The massage starts on top with your face, to your ears, to your head, to your neck, to your shoulders, then your hands, and arms. After your arms they take your feet out of the water and dry it before they go to dump out the bucket of water. When they come back they rub your feet and your calves. They get a hot wet towel to wipe your feet from the massage oil they use. Then over the towel they do your thighs. After your thighs and a few leg stretches they have you turn over for them to do a little more work on your head, neck, shoulders, and back. At the end of my massage they always offer me hot tea or cold water which is nice.
EVERY masseuse is different with different techniques. You may come one day and love your masseuse but come back another day hating the new one you got. Ask for their names if you like them for you to know who to request like I always do every time I call to let them know I'm coming. Whoever you don't like ask for their name as well so you can tell them you don't want that person ever. It's that simple.
If you can't afford at least a $10 Tip for a massage don't bother coming. Consider it a $30 full body massage. $20 for the massage and AT LEAST $10 for tip. They are working on you almost nonstop for a full hour for only $20 which of course doesn't all go to them if it's commission based or however their pay is. Like most service industry jobs I'm sure they rely on their tips. If you were to get a $70 massage at massage envy or $200 massage at the casino spa I'm pretty sure you'll be paying way more than that in tips before they try to chase you down as well. Tip accordingly or stay home.
For a quick cheap massage this is the place to be. Call in advance if you want to make an appt for just yourself or even a party so they can accommodate you quickly without a wait. I highly recommend it. Most of the times I come here it's quiet but there may be days you hear the loud costumers as they come in and settle on their beds. The workers usually do a good job at Shhhhhhhhhhh shushing them lol
