  • I had a sub-par time. Wasn't horrible. Walked in and the music was a bit too loud. It was kind of a "Lets try it" sort of night and most of my group (2adults and 3 kids) were in cranky moods, so I might return to try it again and hope for better. Finding it wasn't easy, the parking area is kind of poop but we found a good spot, luckily. They were doing some construction or set up in the porch area but that didn't really matter since it was kind of chilly when we visited. Sat quickly and our drinks were brought quickly. Bus boy was polite. Our waiter didn't really come check on us very quickly. Complimentary chips, salsa, and bean dip was pretty good. Soup with meal -- the step kids loved it. I ordered the taco bowl. It's my go-to since I'm not huge on Mexican food anyway. Food took it's time getting to the table, drinks weren't re-filled very quickly. Different waiter delivered our food but eh, at least it came. My chicken was dry and my bowl was soggy to start. The 1 out of 3 kids enjoyed and devoured their enchiladas and the other two just whined and played with it. Neither one could explain why they didn't like it. So it could just be picky children being picky. My guy ordered the fajitas and the waiter bringing our food forgot to bring the tortillas. It took another 10 minutes to get the tortillas and by that time we were ready to go. It's not the restaurant's fault everyone was cranky. But the service was lacking, music too loud, and food not done well. I'm willing to try it again since the reviews from all you others are so good and I want to believe my visit was a fluke. =P
