  • Had lash extensions done for the first time by Phelicia. They were AWFUL. My eyes were very red for 3 full days. And, my left eyelid felt sore, like when a pimple is under the surface. That soreness lasted 3 days. The lashes were very coarse & crazy long, with big clumps of black glue. Plus there were very few lashes per lid. I did not know how it was supposed to be. It wasn't pretty. The application had been so horrendously painful on my eyes, like 9 out of 10, almost unbearable I was afraid to do it again. On the positive side, Phelicia called me until the redness and soreness resolved. Today I went to a "lash lounge," just down the street. Completely different experience. The tech there told me Phelicia used lashes that were too thick & had glued each lash extension to 3-4 of my natural lashes. Furthermore, Phelicia used way too much glue. That's why I had so few extensions and pain. Phelicia offers other services. I can't speak to her abilities in those areas. She's a pleasant person. But, when I asked if she did lashes she should have said, "No!" Bottom line: If you're getting lash extensions to enhance your appearance go elsewhere.
