rev:text	UPDATE: So, I have to give Steven from Donut Mania a lot of credit, he responded to me and my criticism with courteous integrity. I added a star just for that! I promised to return to DM and try it again. It seems that we arrived on the day there was an unexpected surge in demand due to TV promotion (on "Tanked") the evening before. They'd had a rough day. (Steven taught me a great lesson in Customer Service today!) I'm marching my a** back to DM as soon as I can to experience what so many others have... PREVIOUS REVIEW: Lots of hype, mostly fantasy...Two stars is generous. One star is because the door was unlocked, and the second is because what we did taste was okay. At 4:15 p.m. there were 14 donuts in the entire display (yes, I counted.) When you name a business Donut Mania, and you are open 15 hours every day, my thought is you should probably have donuts much of those 15 hours! Oh no, I was so wrong! I did ask the snooty little girl behind the counter if they were open until 9 p.m., and she replied they would be closing at 7 p.m. today. Uh, what? I guess it makes sense if you don't have product, you should close, but why don't you make a few more donuts...'cause there were people in the store and more coming in when we left...and your posted store hours say you will be open another 4 3/4 hours! Earlier that day...we noticed the front-page story about the new store that opened in Summerlin (Las Vegas Review-Journal), and saw pictures of some pretty yummy looking specialty donuts! (I was hoping for a fritter, cinnamon roll, or even a Samoa!) It's a lazy Saturday, and we just picked up, and went on a whim. What we got was two ordinary chocolate cake donuts and two raised, one white frosting and the other pink...with sprinkles. Nothing wrong with them...tasted good. When you are a new business with published hype, one might think you are loaded up, ready to show us what the hype is about! Uh, no. Not in this case. There are too many competitors in LV to give them more than one shot. For me, today was it. I wish them luck.
