  • If you're looking for something or if you're not, Active Surplus is a phenomenal place to spend an hour shopping or browsing. Saw these guys at the hobby show last year over at the International Center. My 8 year old son and I spend a good 30 minutes loading up little bags with goodies that we would later use as trinkets for our Geocaching addiction. From then on at least once a month he would pester me to go to their store and stock up on other oddities. I've now used these guys for everything from camouflage duct tape to test tubes for a Boxing day party (inexpensive shot glasses). If you haven't already... check these guys out. Not only to they have tonnes of great stuff but they're super nice and helpful to boot.
