  • I went to Satow Goldsmiths to see about having my diamond wedding band re-done, in addition to inquiring about a gold necklace that was on a particular website he had. Steve gave me all the info regarding having my ring done, including the cost for each of the few steps that would lead up to the finished ring. He told me the necklace I asked about was consigned and he didn't have the piece in his shop at the time. He thought he would have it within the week. He did, however give me the price he thought it would sell for and said he would call me and let me know when he actually had the necklace in his shop. Over a week went by and no call. I called his shop, didn't get an answer, and left a message. Still no call. The same thing happened with two more calls so in total, I made three or four calls over a two week period. I never received a call back and because of this lack of business courtesy, would never do business with him.
