Older woman at the counter was BEYOND rude, couldn't be bothered to say hello back when when we entered and said hello to her. My child asked her three times if she could enter the play area and was ignored so I intervened and asked about the play area-she goes "you have to pay" in a snippy way and turned her back on us. Didn't say "sure you can play, it's x per hour" nothing remotely helpful or engaging. So I couldn't be bothered to spend money in her shop. PS we were literally the only customers in there, they were not busy. And now I know why.
We left and went to Kidstop just down the street and had a much better experience with far more selection. In today's age when most people go to big box stores or order off Amazon, it makes no sense at all to act like that to customers who specifically sought you out to support an independent retailer.
