| - I'm giving it a 1 because the front office receptionist and back office assistant were wonderful. The provider, Aileen, was the worst I have ever had, in any practice. My son had a bad cough, heart rate of 115; fever of 101.7, and complaining of his nose running x4 days. She listened to his chest, ordered an SVN treatment, then came in with his discharge paper work. She never looked in his ears, in his throat, up his nose, felt his lymph nodes, order a chest X-ray...After the breathing treatment, she didn't even listen to his chest to see if he sounded better. I asked for cough medicine because we have been up for 4 nights without rest, he was exhausted. She said no, she wouldn't prescribe any. I could buy Mucinex over the counter. Seriously?? How would she know that Mucinex was appropriate if she didn't look in his nose or throat. She did write a prescription for an antibiotic to fill if he got worse. She wrote it ina pediatric dose. He's 15!!! I am still in a state of disbelief over this visit, and home with a child that can't stop coughing.. I'm sure I will be at another Urgent Care in the morning, as this is the weekend.
