| - Went out for a kid-free date night to celebrate two birthdays. The kitchen was incredibly accommodating with my restricted diet (gluten free, soy free, dairy free) and mentioned they had an allergy kit with special utensils, if necessary. When I called to make a reservation, the GM, Scott said, "If we have to completely destruct a dish on the menu and build it back to suit your requirements, we will do it!" I was incredibly appreciative of the level of accommodation since that is not typically what you hear. My girlfriend and I loved the wine/champagne list (we shared a bottle of Prosecco) and the hubbies enjoyed the beer very much - scotch ale was a favorite. The food was great! We had the bone marrow appetizer (yum!), chicken with Carolina rice, hoppin John, and collards, bacon Braised brussel sprouts, and the roast beef sandwich all of which was exceptionally prepared. It's making me hungry just thinking about it!
The space was large and even though it was full, did not seem overly loud, within reason for a bar on a Saturday night. There is a kids corner with toys and such. Everyone was very friendly.
We will definitely be back!
