  • This is a true hidden gem! It is not your usual "hotel" and that makes it awesome! Any "bad" review you read is from a closed minded idiot. Yes, it is on a college campus...yes you can tell that this was part of converted dorms. But if you take the time to read the book in the room about the history of the area and what went on there and what continues to go on...it is awesome. So for the standard room type review...very clean nice and comfortable. No tub..only shower that was huge and perfect! Take a bath in a hotel bath tub? YUCK! Bed was a hotel bed...comfortable...but not home...DUH! Staff was awesome! There is a Pub on campus in walking distance and not only do they have an awesome selection of beer on tap, but great food too! Plus as a guest you can mingle with the students who reside there and maybe learn something! Dumbest review I read about this place was they complained about having to walk to the fitness center...really?...you had to do a small walk on your way to work out? we will be back! I grew up around this area and loved to learn about a history i never knew.
