| - Pros:
-Our wedding day was PERFECT. Marta was our coordinator and she was always on point and on top of everything. I didn't have to do anything. She was incredibly professional and knowledgable and I could not recommend her more. I had a... ahem... difficult mother, and she handled it incredibly well both before and during the wedding.
-The DJ (Patrick) was truly amazing, he completely understood what we wanted and we are still hearing rave reviews from our guests about him. The food was good, and the cake was gorgeous and delicious. The bartenders were amazing! They make a great drink.
-We were in the garden room and it was absolutely gorgeous, there was very little need for any decoration. It was also perfectly cool. We got married in 106 degree weather, so there was a lot of concern about the heat.
-Our minister was excellent, and did a service that was perfect for us, even though he had known us for 15 minutes.
-We added an open bar hour before the start of the wedding, and it was only $300 and absolutely perfect. That way all of our out of town guests could relax once they found the place.
Cons:
-The food they served day of was not the menu we had agreed upon, we were pretty confused by that because we confirmed it multiple times.
-We ordered a daiquiri machine and it broke at the beginning of the night
-We ordered a photo booth with the guest book option, but what they don't tell you is you only get a few pages and they put one photo strip on each page, so only about 30 guests (thank god for group photos) got to be a part of our guest book. However they give you a CD with the photos on it.
-I've been planning my wedding with them from a different state and they could not be more difficult about that. I call at a pre-scheduled time with a question and they say 'I'll call you back in 5 minutes' and no one ever does. After a 45 minute wait I call them back and no one can help me or even knows about my call. They're constantly telling me they need to reschedule our phone meetings, and putting me on hold every minute. I tried emailing them and I get a response less than 50% of the time, or an initial 'we'll get back to you' and they never do. We were also told they would schedule a tasting for us once they looked at the schedule and found a menu similar to ours. When we did inquire about it after a few weeks they said 'oh we only do that when you request it' I felt like yelling 'WE REQUESTED IT WEEKS AGO' Even when we did call at our scheduled time they were all confused and wondering why we're calling. And this is all happened in 2 scheduled meetings. Two meetings were this frustrating and difficult.
Conclusion:
Yes they are difficult to work with in the months leading up to the wedding, but this is probably mostly due to my out of state problem, and that I couldn't meet face to face. When we did meet with them, they were incredibly attentive and professional.
HOWEVER, I completely and utterly recommend them for your wedding. They can find almost anything for your wedding without you having to search for vendors, and you'll get a good price. The coordinators are professional, talented and will really make your night a success; and all the vendors are absolutely amazing. I cannot recommend this enough to other brides.
