| - After buying 2 cars from San Tan I am going to warn whomever is buying a VW to go somewhere else! My first VW I bought in 2016, I was presented with clean car fax and bought my car under the impression that it had a clean title since I was shown the car fax as well as being told it had never been in an accident. I kept having problems with my brakes so my husband and I went car shopping to trade it in. We went to another dealership and got my car appraised, come to find out it had been in an accident in 2013! My car was worthless and so I went back to San Tan to have them make it right. They got me into a 2018 Tiguan, they made promises and once we got to finance all those promises seemed to not pan out, of course. We had to wait for our car to be shipped and once it got there I gave them cash and a hold check for the remainder of our down payment that was to be held for 30 days. Guess what! They held it for a total of 12 hours and cashed it completely pulverizing our bank account with fees because there was not enough money to cover the check (that's why we needed 30 days). When I called my salesman Joe, he was rude and said it wasn't his fault that happened and to call the dealership. Luckily Mike got me another check with my bank fees included because they should not have done that. So I thought it was all over, nope, I was wrong. 2 weeks later I still hadn't received my signed documents for the car! I called multiple times asking when I would get them (I wanted the copies when I signed them but was told they couldn't do that, why, I'm not sure). So today I called to ask for Mike in finance and he was still busy. He calls me back and sends me copies of documents, they aren't signed and they say we waived the Gap insurance and it also says we paid for it. I'm not sure what is going on at this point but I want to put this out there for unsuspecting buyers, my family has always had VW's and we bought more cars at other dealerships and not one of us has ever had an issue until now. This is the most unprofessional, chaotic, ridiculous car buying experience I have ever had. The only person who bothered to help me was Mike, the finance manager, he straightened out the check situation and even got me extra money to cover the fees from it being taken out. He went above and beyond for me and he apologized for being busy but he had gone on vacation and no one communicated that to me except for him.
