rev:text	My boyfriend and I just left this Safeway and swore it off. Its sad because we've been coming here for years. Usually the staff is very friendly but tonight we had a HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Went to check out in the self check out (which I do all the time) and when I selected the option for bananas and placed them in the bag I had an alert to take them out. So... I proceeded to hold on to them.... but before you know it a VERY VERY RUDE cashier named Sam (short brown hair) interrupted my boyfriend and I and asked "Whats wrong with the bananas?" I kindly explained what had happened and my boyfriend explained it was already scanned... but before you know if she gave us a huge accusing attitude. She basically acted as if we were trying to steal $1.50 worth of bananas. She proceeded to walk us through the checkout and treated us as if we were complete idiots trying to steal. After she rudely walked us through the process I pointed out she charged us AGAIN for the bananas. WHAT A COMPLETE IDIOT!!! I tried explaining we had already scanned the bananas to her but clearly she was too focused on playing "food police". My boyfriend and I walked out of the store completely shocked that someone could be so rude and condescending. I plan on calling the manager first thing in the morning to let him know how his employees treat long time customers. Although who knows if he cares?? The last few times I have come to this store there has been mixed attitudes from the staff. I don't care to deal with poor customer service so I will just switch to one of the million other grocery stores we have in the area. What a loss for that store.... seems how my family spent hundreds (perhaps thousands) of dollars at that store and that certainly won't be happening anymore. And judging by some of the other posts, we aren't the only ones done with this Safeway.
