| - Location: Great location in the center of the city, stone's throw from the underground shopping areas, St. Catherine's St, the metro stop, and McGill. It is an easy shot to get here by car from the airport, and relatively easy hotel to find.
Staff: The staff was very friendly, and very service oriented. The lobby of this hotel is pretty small, and it doesn't seem to have tons of staff like other hotels. Nonetheless, the front desk staff was very welcoming, and helpful in every way. They easily flipped between English and French, and did a good job of anticipating questions. They also gave some good, practical dinner suggestions.
Breakfast: The breakfast was a decent well rounded Residence Inn breakfast. What made it stand out though was the friendliness of the breakfast staff. It was almost like being welcomed into a family. There is one very outgoing woman who was very friendly. When breakfast wasn't being served, the dining area doubled as the business center and TV lounge. They had free coffee and fruit throughout the day which was a nice little treat. I spent a fair amount of time here on the wifi which catching up on work. It was a great workspace and easy to get some privacy.
Room: The room was very nicely appointed, and seemed to be relatively recently remodeled. It wasn't huge, but certainly enough space for two adults and a baby. The kitchen was very useful, as you would expect in a Residence Inn. There was no shortage of appliances, plates and utensils for our convenience. The view was nothing special, and looked out onto the street, but we were only on the 4th floor so a higher floor might have afforded a nicer view.
Building: This is a pretty small footprint building, so there are very few rooms on each floor and the elevators are quite small and only fit a few people. It feels like a boutique New York hotel in terms of footprint... but the rooms more than make up for it.
