  • I came in during an emergency for my sweet little dog daisy. My old vet wasn't after hours and this place was the closest and open. I'm sure that most people like myself would be very nervous about trusting a new vet especially when your pups life hangs in the balance. Dr Nickens was the one who we saw and She is amazing!!!!! She told us exactly what was going on and let us know that my sweet dog daisy needed emergency surgery that night asap. She was mentioning that she was the only vet working during that late shift and was extremely busy, but will make room for us so that she could attempt to save our sweet daisy's life. Most other vets would have just sent us to another location but Nickens didn't. She is a type of person who actually cares which is becoming more difficult to find. Long story short... Daisy made it through the surgery which dr. nickens performed a 2 1/2 hour surgery. As concerned pet owners we called many times through the next two days asking how daisy is doing and dr. nickens took the time to talk to us during each call. She is the best vet that i have ever met and will continue to only bring my pups to her. Thank you Dr. Nickens! Your the best!!
