With nothing visibly vegetarian on the menu, I decided to order the fried tofu and a side of edamame. I prefer my tofu firm, thoroughly marinaded and fried. Unfortunately the tofu was on the softer side, unflavored, with a lightly crisp glaze, sitting in a salty soy sauce broth. I tried to enjoy it, but it just tasted underwhelming and mushy. Like something made as an after thought. I mentioned my disappointment to the waitress, but I don't think she knew what to respond or how to follow up so gave a polite laugh and left it at that. Shame, I found the minimalistic atmosphere interesting and I hoped it would become a new Date Night option.
