  • My favorite restaurant BY FAR in Charlotte and maybe the best restaurant anywhere in the SE. I know those are strong words, but believe me the food quality is out of this world good. I can keep listing adjectives to describe the place, but they will simply not do it justice. There are so many great dishes here, let me try to recap some of my favorites: Gnocchi - I am a huge gnocchi fan in general and this may be the best I've ever had. It comes with a great cream sauce, the pasta itself is perfectly soft, just enough cheese and chunks of bacon. Simply incredible. Just getting this dish alone is worth coming here. Lamb Belly - Wow. The flavors in this dish are amazing. So many things happening here and the lamb is crunchy yet soft, awesome, awesome dish. Pork Tenderloin - I have NEVER had pork this tender. EVER. Perfectly seasoned and perfectly prepared. The chorizo hash that accompanies is really good as well. This is a must order. Pork Bun - You may not think this is the thing to get, but you would be wrong. You have to order this dish. The bun is puffy and soft and the meat inside is so flavorful. Love this dish. Pomme Frites - Excellent french fries. Just thick enough, great crunch, great seasoning. I LOVE their fries. Are you starting to get the point. This is a never ending list. EVERY dish here is at the very least really really good and at most heavenly perfection. Cool atmosphere, it's normally pretty busy, good service though as everyone is very friendly. Good drinks as well, I actually really like their Pom Margarita... I would literally go there once a week if I lived in Charlotte. I will come back here EVERY chance I have. Unbelievable restaurant.
