  • This Mexican restaurant is in an older and tired strip mall. That's your sign that the food will be good. We've been here twice, and both times we've been impressed. In fact, this time around it seemed like the owners had cleaned up the place a bit. The first time we came, it smelled a little bit stale and we almost left. This time around, it didn't have any bad smell at all. And the service is fantastic. We got our meals very quickly. When you sit down, you're given chips, salsa, and yummy refried beans. If you're into seafood and Mexican, this is the place to come. In addition to shrimp cocktail, they also have an octopus cocktail which is closer to ceviche. It has chunks of deliciously boiled octopus. I've had the whole fried fish twice; it's not greasy. It's nice and crispy, the bones are delightfully crunchy. And, it had the head attached. I grew up in a Korean American household where we ate offal. I enjoyed it then, and now. Their pricing is pretty cheap, considering the awesome seafood options on their menu. The fried fish came with a sizable Caesar salad, rice, and beans for $13.99.
