I went here for lunch this afternoon.I had seen photos of the newly renovated buffet and I was curious to see if it looked as good as the photos.I am happy to say that it did.It is one of the most modern, beautiful and aesthetically appealing buffets I have ever been to.The lighting and colors have a really positive feel to them.To use an Asian term,it had a real good Feng Shui,IMHO.The servers were quite good, coming over frequently to remove empty plates and refilling beverages. The dessert selection seemed quite good, although I only availed myself of a couple of items as I am trying to restrict my sugar intake.Having said all of the above,I must say that I wasn't really impressed with the overall quality of the main food items.Don't get me wrong.I'm not saying that I didn't enjoy the meal or that it was industrial sewage like you would get at Circus Circus. It was probably a bit better then than the offerings at the old French Market buffet that the Orleans used to have. It's just that a lot of the dishes just seemed to be lacking in a certain pizzazz.I would not have a problem coming here again for another meal as long as it was discounted like the one I had today. To me,their prices are about $5.00 more per meal then what I would ideally like to pay.But if you do choose to eat here,I doubt that you'll be disappointed. There is such a large selection that you should get a full meal.Just don't expect really incredible food.Of course, you're also not paying a really exorbitant price.Enjoy.
