  • I had a very difficult time finding a company to repair/ replace my glass block windows in Master Bath. I found Robertson's Glass Block on Angie's List. My normal due diligence on a company (contractor's license, BBB, review sites) did not provide a lot of information. I needed the work done, and called the office. Brian called me within a day or two. He came out the next day to look at the job. He is extremely knowledgeable about Glass Block. He said he could match the blocks, which were originally installed in 1999. I did not receive a quote when expected, and had to follow up with emails and phone calls to get it. When I did receive the quote, I felt it was reasonable. We arranged to meet so I could get a sample block to compare it to the blocks in my windows. Perfect match. I gave him 1/2 of estimate as deposit. Originally scheduled to start on a Thursday. Called night before to say he was not going to be able to start until Friday. That worked okay for my schedule. Brian and another man worked very diligently from 8 am until 3 pm Friday. They protected the interior surfaces when breaking the block to replace it. They put waterproof lining around window before setting new block. Brian pointed out the rusted metal clips that were in the windows because builder did not use stainless steel ones. Brian replaced them. The men were unable to finish the job Friday, and returned Monday. Brian texted to let me know he was running a little late. They worked most of the day. In addition to completely replacing glass block in a 2' x 6' window in shower, they cut out and replaced a cracked block in a 6' x 6' window over bath. They scraped out old cracked mortar and replaced it on large window. They patched some cracks in the stucco over and next to the windows. Brian will come back to seal grout on exterior. I could not have been happier with the work done by Robertson Glass Block.
