  • You're down by the waterfront. You're about to hit the Toronto Island ferry (http://www.yelp.ca/biz/toronto-island-park-toronto). You realize that you're totally hungry. How you didn't figure that out before you left the house, but there you are. That or you happen to work or live in the 'hood and you just realized that the French onion soup you were going to make for dinner might just need something that you don't have at the house...onions. This Kitchen Table's got you covered. One of the larger of the stores that you can find in Toronto, this one has the added bonus of having a deli counter with a great turnover of foods made fresh. Add to this the range of the grocery and household items that you can purchase if you find yourself caught out, it works out as a great place to grab lunch before you hit the ferry. Also add to this there's a bank machine on site (CIBC if you bank there and don't feel like getting tagged for a buck or two) so that you can actually pay for the purchase. Try out one of the parmesan chicken sandwiches. Pretty swell.
