Taking a negative and turning it to a positive. I was in a sour mood when I arrived as I just dealt with the Big O Tires on Rancho, which jerked me around for over 45 minutes and still didn't look at my vehicle. (but this isn't about them)
I expressed my displeasure with Big O Tires and stated what I needed done. I didn't even get a chance to be pissed off and rant when Ray grabbed my keys and apologized for the other shop and explained that at his store customer service is their main focus.
Ray jumped in my truck and test drove it around the lot. Pulled it in and had it on the rack. While one mechanic was prepping my vehicle for Ray to look at another one stepped in so he could take his lunch. (this way I was not left in the lurch .. take not Rancho) Rich was the new mechanic and he was very diligent and inspected my front tires for the noise. He found it right away and in less then five minutes he had it fixed.
I saw from the Point of Sale signs that they have a free alignment test.. basically if it is out of alignment they tell you and you pay at that point. I figured what the hell. Rich pulled my vehicle up onto the alignment machine and because I was curious he explained it all to me. Apparently my vehicle was slightly out of alignment. So I opted for him to fix it. (again Rancho instead of making money and taking care of a customer... you lost a customer forever)
The total time I was at Big O Tires on Centennial was under an hour. The showroom is clean and presentable and the TV even works. This store was a night and day difference from the Rancho location and it is only 8 minutes away.
In the end I was so thrilled with my service I tried to give Ray a tip.. To my surprise he declined it.
Truly a class act .. and I am happy to say they have earned a new customer for life.
