I've had good and bad experiences here. My first one was good. My second one...not so much. Guy at front desk had a poor attitude - but I'm sure they deal with alot of stupidity. The main complaint I have is some of the nurses. I am a clean cut stay at home mom. I had a VERY HORRIBLE pinched nerve in my neck & had a photoshoot with the MAYOR the next day! I could barely move it was so painful. I forced myself to go to urgent care, even though I am anti pain medicine. I was totally looked at like I was trying to just get pain pills (I guess because I didn't shower since I COULDN'T move?). It was very brutal being in that much pain and the nurses were rude and not compassionate. One of the nurses said "they're not going to give you anything". Um what? Isn't that the doctors job to decide? People don't want to go to urgent care...we don't want to spend hundreds of dollars..so at least be professional and courteous!
I was so happy to see that the NP I saw was a woman in my mother's of preschoolers group! So she knew I was seriously hurting and was able to pinpoint the damage in my neck. She prescribed exactly what I needed to help me get well. I was so thankful to get help and feel better.
I'm sure nurses see alot of addicts in there but please be kind to everyone.
