  • I would like to start off by saying that I'm an 18 year old girl, I don't do much, I mind my business and stay out of trouble. I don't look like a bad kid, I wasn't dressed like a bad kid either. (This is relevant to my experience) Anyways, I came here to watch A Christmas Party with my boyfriend and his family, I was carrying a small backpack about the size of hat it was obvious I couldn't really sneak a full course meal and drink in there(: but on our way in the guy that checks your tickets and tells you where the theatre is decided to stop me, ( I forgot to mention we bought A LOT of snacks so my hands were full) anyways the guy stopped me and asked to check my bag. I didn't see a problem with this so I said okay, kind of irritated though because i couldn't really get it off because of everything I was holding. So a couple of struggles later he checks my bag and I go along with my business. My boyfriend and I go sit next to his family, as the movie begins the manager I am assuming he was, comes up to only us and asks if we are with them. Which I was going to reply " no we just sit next to random people we don't know((((: " but i bit my tongue and said yes we are, then he asked for our tickets because I guess he thought we somehow stole them. I found this to be very rude and unnecessary because he did single us out and only asked us. You would think I am done but no this isn't it. So after the movies done we are waiting outside the theatres because his little brother had To use the restroom so we are waiting and I see people coming in with large purses, grocery bags, and outside drinks and they aren't getting checked!!!! So obviously I effing flipped ! What did I look like a terrorist!!? Did It look like I was about to blow the building up!? I guess so because I was harassed and offended and I am only 18. So yeah I will never come to any regal cinemas again and I will tell everyone I know ( which are young people my age((((: )and families and what not. To not attend to these discriminative theatres anymore.
