  • I had a Buytopia voucher for a manicure and pedicure that I've been keeping for the longest time, and I finally got a chance to redeem it! First off, the salon is a bit hard to find since it is located on the first floor of a round residential building. I had to walk around the whole building just to find the place. I was greeted by a very sweet lady who was overly enthusiastic about everything that came out of my mouth, which I didn't mind. Some may be put off by this false pleasantness. The manicure and pedicure felt very rushed because it was close to their closing time, but the job was decent. I wasn't charged extra for requesting a French manicure - other places I've been to usually charge $5 extra. I am a bit concerned about the level of hygienic care of their manicure tools. They use the same nail file interchangeably and same scrubbing bar. Instead of soaking my hands in warm water, a cuticle softener oil was applied to speed up the process. For a Buytopia deal, it wasn't bad at all, however, if I were to pay full price I would go elsewhere with better quality work.
