  • To be honest, this was our last choice for food, but it ended up being a pretty solid choice. Our bachelor party of 12 dudes needed a casual spot to get food without spending too much (in the realm of Strip restaurants), and without traveling too far. Otto Enoteca fulfilled all of those needs quite well. Located by the shops in the Venetian, the space is surprisingly small for how big it looks from the outside, but we were able to get seated right away without a reservation, and drinks/water were distributed very quickly. We all split some arancini (fried rice balls), which were quite excellent, so much so, that we ended up getting more orders of it to start off. As for my entree, I got the carbonara pizza, which had egg, scallion and guanciale on top, and was quite excellent. I assumed that the egg would just be a runny yolk on top, but it was actually scrambled on top, which turned out really well. The scallion had just enough bite to cut through the richness of the pizza, and I finished the pizza off quite quickly, almost wanting some more. Service was pretty helpful and attentive, as much as can be in the late afternoon for a group of 12 hungry dudes. Prices were pretty much on par for a casual sit-down for the Strip, with pizzas around $20, and cocktails/wine were about $11-12. Given the names behind this place (Batali and Bastianich), it's a pretty decent place for Italian if you're staying in the Venetian, but perhaps nothing to go out of your way for. Yet, if you need flexibility and have a large party for lunch or a casual dinner, Otto Enoteca will do quite nicely.
