| - I will never recommend this State Farm agent to anyone. I'm in management in one of the higher end hotels here in Las Vegas and I live a very busy schedule. But the past multiple services I had was so horrible, I had to take the time to expose this. Going back a few years, I got into a new car and called in to register my new insurance. I also have auto monthly payment on, never missed a payment. As I mentioned earlier, I have a very busy schedule and I don't take the time to check my monthly bills. Especially if they're on auto payment (isn't that the purpose?). After 3 months of having my new car, I noticed I was getting double charged monthly, because they never cancelled my old car insurance. I called to depute the charge but they did not accept and instead put the blame on me that I didn't tell the agent to cancel my old car insurance.. The fact is, the employee forgot and to save his job most likely made up a lie to cover his mistake. I just clearly told you that I got a new car replacing my old car. The reason why I have not left yet is because my family has been with them for years and I'm under their family plan. Our homes, businesses, cars, life insurance etc, etc the whole package. You would think you would get a little extra service and care but nothing. I'm also glad reading the past review yelper, that I wasn't the only one and proving my point right. Every month my bill goes up by $5-15 range, I notice it because its on my credit card statements. I let it go because I don't have the time to call and argue over a few dollars (I'm also sure many of their members are the same), and the sad part is they continue to charge the same rate and a few months later they will raise it a bit again acting like you wouldn't notice. Today, I got a letter from them stating that I didn't pay and my insurance is cancelled and will need a $35 to reactivate (stating that my CC has expired). I called to get this solved right away, I wasn't even going to argue about the money. I was simply going to just ignore it pay it and move on with my life. But then the sales rep said the DMV will bill you $250 because you had no insurance for 1-2 days (so why would you send me a $35 bill and then tell me now I have another $250?). They claim to have called me multiple times with voice mail and sent mail. For good faith, I checked my last 3 months of voicemail and not a single voicemail from them. Also no mails, if they were telling the truth then how is it that I just got one mail about my insurance being cancelled and called right away? Wouldn't I call back if I was being notified that my credit card was expiring?!?! Keep in mind I have been with them for years on auto pay and never missed a payment. The sales rep simply replies with "We cant do anything, you have to take that up with the DMV now". Just horrible service, the quick "pass it along problem". If you guys did your job, I would if obvious gave you my updated CC information and I wouldn't have had to pay the DMW. Because of their mistakes, I now have to pay about $300. Because hey! It's not "their problem anymore" it's the DMW I have to chat with now (more time being wasted for me over the phone). Additional to the 3 months I paid extra insurance for a car that was cancelled, these monthly increases, and now this letter. NOT ONCE the have tried to help or provide a solution. All 3 cases was a simple shut down right after you spoke. No matter what you said. The truth is, it was never about the money, and it was about the service. What's right is right and they never took fault for their actions and just blamed the customer. Again, working in the hospitality industry. This has been one of the worst and I don't often write reviews about anything.
