  • In town completely driven by money, sometimes 'free' is refreshing. The choreographed fountains at The Bellagio are definitely one of the non cost neat things to see while walking the strip. Whether you happen upon them or make a special trip to see them, I don't think you'll be disappointed. They run every half hour but we found them to start a bit later than scheduled time so stick around past starting time if you can. The music varies and depending on when you catch it you could hear sappy music like the "Titanic" theme song, pop, Sinatra, jazz, orchestra ensembles, and of course some "Viva Las Vegas". They also showcase holiday music during the winter season. The show is lovely both day and night, as well as seen from the street or the steps of the hotel looking out onto the strip where the Eiffel Tower would be your backdrop. You can also watch them from the top of the Eiffel Tower too! If you are popping in specifically for the fountains, parking is free for the first hour and just $7 after. Take your ticket with you though! You pay for parking at a kiosk inside. While in there, don't miss the botanical gardens in the atrium also! Stunning! And again, free! They have a few fine dining restaurants which over look the fountains for a romantic date night. Contact the hotel for reservations as they're a hot commodity. My kiddos enjoyed it a lot, but if you think yours would be in to pirates and fire more and only have time for one show, maybe the fountains at Treasure Island would better for those with littles in tow. That show only runs at night however.
