| - This is a self-serve frozen yogurt shop that offers 12 flavors of yogurt, some of which are yummy YoCream. I was anxious to try it since I am vacationing here and can't go without my daily dose of fro yo. I was also thrilled that they currently have my favorite flavor, Peanut Butter. The associate was friendly and offered us sample cups upon our arrival. The decor of the shop is a very bold blue with black. There are not many tables, only two or three. The tables they have are somewhat small, much like a children's table. There are also three comfy couches to hang out on while having your treat. They have two televisions, but each one had something different playing on it. This made for a noisy and distracting experience. It was also very warm and stuffy, so it was a bit uncomfortable.
There were lots of toppings to choose from including fruit, waffle cone pieces, cookie dough bites, cheesecake bites, cookies, candy, and sauces. I was disappointed that they don't offer whipped cream, though. Some of the flavors included on today's visit were Peanut Butter, Cake Batter, Cookies 'n' Cream, Red Velvet Cake, NSA Vanilla, Chocolate, and Pomegranate Raspberry Sorbet. One thing I noticed that is different from most self-serve yogurt shops is that there is no way to swirl the two flavors in each machine. Each machine only has two handles; one for each flavor. It's not a huge deal since I typically don't swirl, but a lot of people like that feature. There are two different sizes of cups to choose from, and the yogurt is moderately priced at $0.37 per ounce. That's a bargain compared to the $0.45 per ounce that most of the yogurt shops in Seattle charge. They also offer a military discount. Be prepared if you're using a credit card, though. There is a $0.35 fee is your purchase is less than $10.
If you're looking for a good quality yogurt with a nice variety of toppings at a reasonable price, give them a try.
