These buses are cleaner than greyhound the only plus to taking the megabus . A lot of family and friend spoke highly of the mega bus mostly because of low fares and comfort. I booked a trip from Las Vegas to Los Angeles and I regret not taking greyhound because it was the same price as greyhound for me (technically more because you have to pay for babies). First of all they require all passengers to purchase tickets I was traveling with my baby and the person checking tickets informed me that everyone needed a ticket to board even children under 2 years old and I would have to pay a higher rate for her ticket. No airline or greyhound have this policy but I should have double checked that was my mistake. I check greyhound and just assumed. Second I thought I was upgrading my seat and got the seat with the table which was a big mistake the lady in front of me and myself could not get comfortable luckily both of us didn't mind touching. The driver was driving way too fast I think to get back on schedule but kept riding on those bumps in the road that divide the lanes which was scary and we still ended up being 1 hour behind schedule not sure exactly why because we left on schedule and traffic was not that bad on top of him driving like a maniac.
