  • I started to see Dr Loreman a few years ago as I was diagnosed with valley fever. She was super nice and seemed knowledgeable but as time went on our appts got shorter as I felt she didn't really have the motivation to answer my questions or really look at all my options treatment wise. I even saw her at one point and I had to point out that I got a chest x ray done (that she requested) and I would like to review it with her because she was so rushed. I let it go. The past few times I went to her she suggested having surgery on my lung which is a scary thing for a young woman whose mother lives out of state. My mother was worried as she and I are close and she called Dr Loreman and spoke with her directly asking if this is the only option. After that conversation i went to a different doctor for another opinion.I've been very pleased with this new Dr as she thinks surgery should be the last option considered. I had an appt with Dr Loreman today as she was the first doctor I saw after my diagnosis and I needed some information as well as some papers filled out. Today is the last day I will step foot in that office. She told me today after walking in the room angry that she is uncomfortable filling the forms out. she then went on to talk about my personal relationship with my mom and how my mother needs to fly down and come to my appts with me, as she lives out of state instead of calling her insulting her which my mother never did. She stated that she's not answering my moms calls if my mother calls her again and I come back and make her my primary doctor, then she started telling me that her daughter would never ask her mom to call her Dr for her. I never asked my mom to call , my mom was just worried about her daughters health and frankly I'd do the same so maybe my mom cares a little bit more and wants to be involved but who knows. She also mentioned that all she is going to tell me if I go back to her is that I need surgery instead of looking into other options. I cried because I've never ever had anyone speak to me this way who has this title. I am truly disgusted. To top it off she then told me I was going to be charged $80 to have forms filled out. Absolutely ridiculous. This is your job you have no right to talk to people the way you talked to me today and try and make me pay your office $80 for something that is free at other offices. You're a doctor and it is your job to look out for your patients. She is very unprofessional and I wish I could give her negative stars. You should not be a doctor if you aren't considering all options for your patients. You don't just tell them they need surgery so they will be out of your hair and you don't talk down and insult them.
