I contacted AZ Pool Guru last spring (2017) to have my parents pool resurfaced. After about a week of it being done, we noticed several blistering spots in the plaster. I contacted Chuck, he had one of his guys come look at it a few days later. I then sent a text asking what we could do to fix it. He indicated it would need to be resurfaced in the fall when the weather cooled and said it was under warranty. I contacted him in late May with pictures of the blistering as they were starting to peel at this point. In Oct 2017 I reached out to him to inquire about when we could get started. He said it would be a few more weeks for the weather to cool. At the end of Nov I contacted him. He called me on Dec 1st and said his wife would be doing all the scheduling and should be getting in touch with me over the weekend or the first of the week. Mid Dec 2017, Chuck arranged to have pool drained on Jan 2nd and start repairs. He did a bit of work to attempt to get the surface sanded down. Ran into snags on how to sand off the surface materials because of his former employee's crummy work from last year. There has been excuse after excuse on the delay, I have been patient and understanding - but we are now in the 2nd week of March and I am no closer to having this pool done than I was in Jan. And as of the past 2 days he no longer responds to texts or calls. He even left a crushed Modelo can in our pool after being there. Chuck is a very nice guy, talks a good talk - but sadly It appears his warranty is worthless.....Keep all your communication records in case you need them.
