It's unfortunate that this place has so much hype surrounding it, because I didn't find it that bad nor was I disappointed (though it could do with the fact that I went on a chilly, rainy day and there was no wait). It was my first time trying the charcoal cone and there was a curious, burnt aftertaste which I liked. The ice cream has a very creamy texture - and though I forgot which flavour the purple/black one was (ube/coconut, I think?), it was a good amount of sweet and subtle. I wouldn't mind going back here for the occasional ice cream, but I'd never wait past 15 minutes.
