rev:text	Went in for some side pain. Got lab work done, cat scan, fluids. All the while the billing guy is asking how I'm going to pay. I asked if I could get treated first and then talk payment because I was in so much pain. The guy wanted to charge me $13,000!!!! They offer a discount if you pay upfront, so I walked out after spending $1300. He told me I would only see a bill for lab work (which isn't too expensive). Now I have multiple bills on top of that for things I already was assured were paid for. I called and asked them to correct it and the same guy tells me that I would only pay for lab work. Guess what bills I just got on the mail? You know I got all the same bills back. Oh and just so you know, there's an up charge of $40 of you go in at the wrong time so try not to have an emergency before 8am. Unreal.. the doctors and nurses were nice and even the billing guy, but their billing system is terrible and our healthcare is a joke. If I was working one of my old jobs I would've just had to die out front the building. No way I could've paid off 1300 or 13000 dollars! UPDATE: the ER charged me another $300 and is billing me as if I didn't pay for my services! It's another bill for $1200!!!! This is a nightmare. Worst place I've ever been to and now I have to call on Monday to try to talk to the director about why a kidney infection = $2800 Update 2: this is now costing me more money, the medical director will not answer my calls, and the bill went immediately to collections after sending me one notice. It just keeps getting worse. Please take your loved ones some place else!
