I'm wondering if the positive reviews were mostly from those that have little experience with spas previously. I'm a fan of Burke Williams Spas so I thought this Spa at the MGM (esp. with the hefty price tag for services) would be, at the very last, comparable to Burke Williams. I found the facility to be very small although they tried to squeeze much into a small space. The staff that greets visitors and provides the tour are dressed like pool side staff. The lockers actually were stocked with wire, yes wire, hangers such as those given by the local cleaners. The changing room had a few complementary toiletries but no cleansers or lotions. In all fairness, the massage was pleasant and comparable to what I am used to. However, a day at the spa is an expensive luxury, and the atmosphere is part of the total experience. After spending a few hundred dollars, I was very disappointed.
