  • I am so frustrated with this Safeway Pharmacy. I had to go to Safeway due to a change in my prescription drug plan. The people in the pharmacy are rude on the phone, and unfriendly at the counter. The wait takes forever. It appears that the efficiency is poor or is it that the staff just does not care about delivering quality customer care? Do they need more staff or an operational improvement? There is also no drive-through window, making access inconvenient. I previously went to CVS (Dobson and Germann) and I loved the staff! Almost all of them knew me by name without my having to say anything. They were courteous, friendly, knowledgable, and very efficient. They cared! The wait time was always short. I am so sad to have left CVS, let alone to have to go to someplace where the staff is rude and the system inefficient. I'm going to see about transferring to Osco since I have to stay within the Safeway/Albertson's system. Hope it will be a better experience. My advice - avoid this Safeway Pharmacy is you have any choice!
