  • Definitely do not recommend this hotel, we have stayed at a variety of hotels in Vegas that we would recommend over this dive including Palms Place, Vdara, The Venetian and The Flamingo. The following reasons are why you should not stay at the Hard Rock... 1) SUPER dirty even after the cleaning people came it was GROSS! Visible dirt on the tiles in the bathroom, in the tub and around the sink. Stains on the sheets and the hallways stink of smoke 2) The pool management sucks! They wouldn't let us throw around a little nerf football around as "it was a liability" which is a joke as we have never had a problem at any oft he other hotels with throwing a football around but no not here. 3) The whole building is just run down even though they are doing renos the majority of the hotel is just old and stinks. 4) They gym sucks if your wanting to lift any amount of decent weight. Extremely limited supply of workout equipment. 5) Some of the staff has serious attitude (particularly the security at the pool) and that in itself is enough for us to never go back. 6) It's also off the strip and their shuttle service SUCKS! If you want a good hotel with a good shuttle stay at Palm's Place. 7) No kitchenette 8) Line ups for check in and check out *the new side of the hotel I'm sure is much nicer than the old parts of the hotel but regardless if the cleaning people can't take care of the basics (mopping up dirt on tiles and cleaning a tub and sink) then it's just a matter of time before the whole hotel turns into a bacterial breeding ground. Only positive 1) The ladies that helped us at check in and the night before we checked out were very nice
