The Hubby and I stayed here during 4th of July weekend and we will come back. This hotel is so beautiful, modern and luxurious! Apon check-in, my husband mentioned it was our wedding anniversary and the nice lady at the desk gave us a complimentary upgrade to a high-floor panoramic suite! NICE. She did warn us, "You can hear the music from "XS" (the nightclub at Encore) and it doesn't stop till 4am." We appreciated her friendly disclosure and told her "That's fine, we don't get back to our room until 4am anyway, we'll take it!" LOL
The room was immaculate, everything you would expect from a 5 star resort. Spacious living room with a wrap around sofa, ottoman, swivel flat screen TV, ipod dock station, view of the pool & the strip, large comfortable king size bed with Egyptian cotton, large bathroom room with a sit-in tub w/jets, shower w/glass panels, large over-sized plush towels, luxurious his & hers bath robes, control panel next to the bed where you can open and close the curtains by the tip of a finger, you can even turn on the "Do not disturb" sign by the same control panel by the bed (very helpful). :) There is even a doorbell! Encore really made us feel like it was our home away from home with room service.
Room Service: Stumbled, I mean came back to our suite at 3am and ordered room service on Saturday night. They picked up after one ring, "Hello Mrs. C-----, may I take your order?" Impressive, I ordered one Marguerite pizza and she said the pizza will be delivered in 30 mins. I decided to take a hot shower while I waited for the pizza . The room service arrived on time and they even brought up a pitcher w/water and two cups and Parmesan cheese and crushed red peppers. I forgot to ask, but clearly they read my mind! The pizza was excellent.
Pool: Chairs are plentiful. We layed out by the main pool for the 1st day and decided to check out the European Pool the next day. The European Pool is much nicer in my opinion. They only allow 21+older and they allow topless sun bathing (if you want to work on getting rid those tan lines). I had a mojito that was well made, not too sweet and not too strong, they even garnished it with a sugar cane stick ($15 each). They have a DJ spinning top 40 and house music...made me feel like I was at a pool party without having to look at drunk people stumbling all over the place.
Tables: We played black jack and hubby brought home $300 and I brought home $150 (my 1st time). Total winnings: $450.00 Not bad!
Definitely going to book Encore for our next Vegas getaway!
