  • Quite satisfied with the service I received here, not sure much the pricing. I first started by visiting Garage Living (GL) - They were just a bigger company, bigger vendor and of course, was the first company that popped up on Google. Great communication between customer and sales rep and great options for flooring and slatwall; I just needed a significant amount of work done: Insulated Walls and Vapor Barrier - Much needed in any Canadian home Polyaspartic Flooring - Full floor and up the foundation wall Slat Wall + Accessories - All sides, from foundation wall to the ceiling + Several hooks, shelves, buckets and bracket accessories for the slat wall Lighting - 18x, yes eighteen T8 4ft Florescent bulbs in 9 housings, ample lighting for my detailing days and sessions Hot and Cold Water - Must have in any garage Heater and AC - Heated garage for those cold winter nights and stored sports cars and an AC for those 30+ degree hot summer days New Steps Built - The current ones were falling apart (literally) and were not safe Lit House Number - Needed a new house number that was LED backlit Paint, Patch and Fix - Lots of paint work needed on the ceiling and random surfaces; Going with the clean room appearance, everything needed to be light, gray and white Pricing was reasonable, a bit higher than expected but their service and quality of product seemed great. The immediate turn-off was the ridiculous pricing of their garage cabinets - $1000+ for a tall one, $600-$800 for a 30x30x12 wall cabinet. Silly markup. The other challenge I faced was dealing with multiple third-party, overpriced contractors that GL would provide if I wanted all the work done through them. Remember, they only handled the flooring and slat walls. GL would sub-contract someone for the drywall, someone else for the painting, someone else for the electrical, etc. etc. Not a deal breaker by any means but a bit of a hassle when multiple parties are involved.
