I used to really love coming here for beers after work when I lived closer. The bartenders then were really nice, friendly, remembered names, etc. The Irish fare is impressive and the vibe was really old-timer-y and communal.
Try:
-fish and chips (get it with sea bass), very fresh
-bangers and mash (super tasty)
-pork shoulder or something of another... I think it was slow-roasted? Fall-apart quality
The last few times I've been, my gripes have been:
-unclassy patrons (a man stepping into the ladies room stall next to me, gross)
-horrible service (place is open until 2 am and the waitress was rude, unattentive, upset apparently that she had to close)
-silent bartenders
What happened, Johnny Fox's?
