The Love Theater houses the Beatles Cirque show "Love". This is a review of the theater, not the show itself although I will give a short blurb at the end.
The theater is full of bright lights and Beatles paraphernalia. I really enjoyed the small face portrait of John Lennon. The lobby is similar to a movie theater with snacks and alcohol but nothing exciting. The staff was very friendly. There isn't a bad seat in the house as the theater is black box style so everyone has a view of something.
The show itself was recently redone. We purchased a VIP ticket to support the 12 days charity so received a backstage tour. So much goes on behind the scenes and we were treated to watch the sets being moved during a run through.
I have to say I did not love the show. The music of course was Beatles songs which I enjoyed but there was a lot going on stage at once and it was very difficult to take in everything. Also the show tried to do too much to capture the time around which the songs were based and less on the acrobatics. It was enjoyable but it was not my favorite of the Cirque shows.
