Dropped by this little chocolate shop when we visited the Atwater market since there were not many shops open. Staff is friendly.
Saw that they were selling macarons and decided to buy some since they're pretty affordable at $1.65/each. I got half a dozen for $9.95. The flavors I got were: blueberry, chocolate, maple, passion fruit yuzu, strawberry vanilla, and pistachio. So far, blueberry, chocolate and maple have been pretty tasty. Haven't tried the pistachio or passion fruit yuzu yet. The strawberry was bleh. The texture of the macarons were nice and I liked how they weren't "give you cavities instantly" sweet.
The only thing that didn't sit well with me was that the guy was grabbing the macarons with his bare hands. I didn't think that was very sanitary since he was restocking some items before he helped me with the pastries and God only knows what else his hands touched. Use a utensil or glove up next time please. Other than that, the shop is pretty cute and had lots of chocolate.
