  • I was relatively pleased with The Yard Gastro pubs. There were 6 of us and a kid. I called last minute on a Sunday morning to see if they could accommodate us. Unfortunately we had to be sat in a lounge area where there was only a coffee table to eat on. Very casual. Some of us had to sit on the floor. Sieza style dining is in now, you didn't hear? Anyway, it was nice for the kid to run around the little area that we had to ourselves. The server didn't "ring in" the kids order properly so he had to wait. Also, the coffee table we were eating on was very unstable and dangerous if we had opted for hot beverages. The food was fantastic and the staff was very friendly. Shout out to "Wane" for fitting us in last minute! Well be back, only this time, insisting on a regular table.
