  • Old Vegas bar on the edge of Fremont street. It's not a nice area to be wandering around in so I was a bit skeptical when headed down for the Joseph James and Lobster truck event. I was shocked at the bar. Very nice inside, very comfortable seating, great beer list and a fantastic outdoor patio area. It doesn't serve food so smoking is allowed and if that bothers you outside is the place to be. I think as the rest of Fremont street moves east and covers this area the setting will improve greatly on the outside. On the inside, it's clean, well staffed and a great spot to meet friends, have drink and relax before heading west for a dinner or lunch.
