  • We booked from Vancouver having never been to Toronto. We got off a train at union station and took a single bus right to the hotel. Couldn't have been easier. The hotel is an older building that has been completely renovated and looks good. There are 2 pools and an excellent gym. There's a $14 breakfast buffet which we didn't try. There's also a cafĂ© downstairs which does nothing to draw you in and was empty every time we walked by it. Draw your own conclusions. The rooms are neat and square. Larger balcony with room for 2. A/C and TV . I know they have suites but didn't see one. The bed was a king and was very comfortable. The pillows ok. The front desk staff are excellent and will help you with anything. Theres a Superstore a block away. There's is a room service menu with various items including pizza. A single person pizza is anywhere from 12 to $15 . Now this caught me. There is a $3 service charge Plus a delivery charge? plus tax plus tip I assume. What is a service charge coupled with a delivery charge? how can you have both? I assume its a conference hotel and most food is paid for by business. We didn't order it. All in all the place is great. 15 minutes on a bus to town and 1 hour and $3.25 to get to or from the airport. Room was less than $100 a night all in. Good value.
