update: the manager ordered a replacement sight for me to replace the broken one, he also threw in 50rnds of 9mm ammo for my trouble. glockmeister has made this situation fixed in my book, I will continue giving glockmeister business.
Took my slide in to have them install my sights, and to buy a new firing pin channel liner. They put the rear in fine. They broke the screw off in the front sight by over torquing on the tiny little screw. I know this because all of the threads are buried inside the front sight, and i can see where the head of the screw contacted the cerakote inside the slide.
So now I'm out a $65 tritium front sight.
They did the right thing by not charging me the $25 sight installation fee.
But the "installer" said "it just broke off, i wasn't even torquing on it" clearly that was not the case.
