Inhospitable, strange practice. Scheduled for 6 am surgery. Arrived 10 minutes to 6. Not one car in the lot or light on in the building. Lights came on at 605 and only in the lobby. Hallways were dark and not a soul around when we walked in. No place to sign in, no lights on anywhere. We sat down and "somebody" came out and just said "what doctor?". She then told my 80 year old dad "well, I guess you can come back here". We were clearly a bother and staff was staggering in after us. My mother and I were left in the waiting room not knowing if they were prepping him, operating on him or taking him out to breakfast. Not one word said to us before or during the wait. These are 90 year olds. Some sort of good morning or hello or even a nod would have been nice and reassuring. We're still sitting here, the lights are at least on and the doctor just arrived so I guess we'll assume he is in surgery. If you want acknowledgment and knowledge of what is happening, don't come here. They'll let you know that you are a bother.
