  • I dont know how to begin my utter disgust, disappointment, anger and being upset with AAA. This afternoon, I was involved in a car accident where a stupid teenager was texting while driving and side swipe 5 cars (my car being one of them). I have been an AAA member for almost 6 years with no traffic ticket or accident on my record. My home insurance is with AAA, my other home which is a rental unit is with AAA, my husbands car, my friends car and house is with AAA and on my FIRST ACCIDENT IN THE LAST 7 YRS (one which is not even a fault of my own) WHERE WERE YOU??? Unfortunately for me, my agent was out-of-town until the 17th so I got connected to this person named Carol and as I was trying to shake the nervousness of being involved in an accident, this Carol gave me a run down of things I needed to do and told me "When you get home, call the claims department" and when I asked her why do I have to make the phone call (I was assuming you guys call because YOU ARE MY AGENT), her response was "because you are the one involved in the accident , you didnt know that???" How utterly cold and unsympathetic can you get??? And she ended the conversation by telling me GOOD LUCK!...Let me break down the numbers on you people...for my car insurance I pay you $1500/yr and so does my husband...I pay you an additional $500 for homeowners insurance plus another $500 for my rental property...You people make almost $4000 on me annually AND THIS IS THE SERVICE YOU PROVIDE ME???... I believe that after 75 months of being a costumer of AAA (a loyal one at that), it is about time to look for another company..one that is there when YOU NEED THEM...the lesson I get from this people is...YOU WILL NEVER KNOW HOW GOOD THE COMPANY IS UNTIL YOU ARE IN TROUBLE....THEN AND ONLY THEN, YOU CAN SAY IF THEY ARE GOOD OR NOT.... Oh and AAA, maybe you need to spend some of the $4000 you make from me annually to TRAIN DECENT AND PROPER PEOPLE to work with you!
