  • I was quite underwhelmed by the zombie apocalypse experience. I booked this for my boyfriend's 30th birthday and thought it would be awesome because of the great Yelp reviews, definitely not the case. Complaints: 1. Definitely not enough "zombies" to shoot. We were in a group of ten and probably a total of 20 zombies through the whole "experience"(...so don't get left in the back of the pack, you won't get any action). 2. There were two different occasions where the employees said they told us not to do something when they actually NEVER informed us. Everyone in our group was confused. The first was to not take pictures. A guy in our group took a picture towards the beginning and a man yelled at him to put his camera away. "We have a professional photographer for a reason! And I was very serious when I said to keep your phones in your pockets!" We all looked at each other in shock and discussed how he NEVER told us anything about our phones. It really started the experience with a weird vibe. The second was no running. More than half way through the "experience" one of the employees mentioned how of course we already know not to run. Once again we all looked at each other and said "We were never told that." 3. They try to oversell you. They tried to sell us a zombie killing ID and pictures and seemed extremely disappointed when we didn't buy. Hey I get that they're a business trying to make money, but when I pay $36 a person for a mediocre experience I'm not paying a penny more. Positives: Thank you for having the bon fires going on a chilly night and shout out to the zombie at the end who when my boyfriend said "Aw, I wanted to shoot more zombies" suddenly came to life again so he could shoot more.
