  • I came here on the way home from Walmart grocery next door, first time in over a year at least. When I went in I asked the receptionist how much a mani/pedi would be and she told me $40. I told her I wanted gel on my hands, she never gave me an update on the price, she just brought over the samples, without a word. I had previous gel on my toes that the manicurist doing my toes removed also without notifying me of any price increase. In the end my $40 mani/pedi turned into a $68 tab! I knew they would charge extra for the gel, but $28??? Come on?! When I asked they told me that the gel manicure is $35 and they charged me $5 for removal of gel in toes. So that would make the normal pedicure with no gel that I was told was $20 to start was actually $25. Ok, so as upset as I was about new charges thrown on without notice, I tried to explain that, $35 plus $25 is still only $60! Where was the extra money from? They looked at me like I was crazy, it's only simple math. Than mgr says best he could do was refund half of the gel charge of $15, $7.50 off? What about the other $8??? I finally just gave up and left, not going to stress myself out over $15 but I will not be going back there again!
